James Dudley Barnett, age 94, of Paris, Tenn., died Sunday, December 27, 2015, at Paris Healthcare & Rehab Center in Paris, Tenn.  He was the son of the late Charles Barnett and the late Grace Duke Gossett.

He was married May 22, 1948, to Mary Edith Doty Barnett, who survives. They were married 67 years....

He was a former coal miner in Murdock, IL and was also a former school bus driver in Champaign, IL.   He enjoyed fishing and playing cards and was a US Navy veteran.

She was a Methodist and retired from Xerox Corp. in LeGrange, IL.    She loved fishing, and her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.   She also loved giving to others and she made people laugh.
