Angela Jo Garner

Angela Jo Garner, age 37 of Paris, TN, died Friday, November 5, 2021, at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

She worked for Clifty Farm in Paris for 18 years as a machine operator.  She loved camping and enjoyed making children happy, especially the kids at Piney Campground.  Angela spent many years as a part of the puppet ministry at Point Pleasant Baptist Church.  She loved dressing up for Halloween and going to birthday parties in costume.  She loved her family very much, especially her boys.  Angela enjoyed serving others and was always willing to help her friends and neighbors.  She was known as a very unselfish person, always giving of herself, her time, and her resources generously to so many.

Angela was born December 12, 1983, to the late Billy Joe Wynn and the late Georgia Faye French Wynn.

She was married February 10, 2009, to Gary Wayne Garner, who survives, of Paris.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by two sons, Justice Gabriel Wynn of Paris, and Lathan Michael Garner of Paris; one brother, Jeremy Todd Wynn of Elizabethton, KY; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one son, Mason Tyler Garner.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242.  Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Wednesday, November 10, 2021, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Mike Wimberley and Michael Murphey officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Dean, David Hawes, James Wynn, Dan Bevins, Ross Wimberley, and Bryant Peale.  Named as honorary pallbearers are the Clifty Farm “Vacuum Girls”, and Terra “TT” Garner.

Burial will be in New Liberty Cemetery in Buchanan, TN.
