Dennis Ray Goodman, Sr.

Dennis Ray Goodman, Sr., age 68 of Puryear, TN, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at his residence.

He retired after many years as a carpenter for Carpenters Local Union 272 in Chicago Heights, IL.

He was born February 19, 1953, in Chicago Heights, IL, to the late Howard Goodman and the late Alta May Morris Goodman.

He is survived by five children, Michelle McGowan of Kankakee, IL, Melinda (Derek) Tomso of Springfield, IL, Davena Goodman of Dyer, IN, Dennis (Shawna) Goodman, Jr. of Kankakee, IL, and Adam (Anna Laura) Goodman of Crown Point, IN; one daughter-in-law, Kelly Goodman of North Folk, VA; and several grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son, Nathan Goodman.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned at this time.
