Glendora Faye Crews, age 92 of McKenzie, TN, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at her daughter’s residence in McKenzie.
Glendora was a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She enjoyed piece quilting, doing word searches, but most all, she loved to spend time with her family.
Glendora was born May 17, 1929, in the Old 23rd near Springville, TN, to the late William Elvis Ross and the late Venola Martin Ross.
She married Harry Lee Crews March 9, 1946, who preceded her in death on December 28, 1997.
She is survived by six children, Pamela (Charles) Hudgins of McKenzie, TN, Glenda Lee Evitt of Cleveland, TN, Deborah Gail (Randy) Hart of Columbia, TN, Cindy Renee (Johnny) Brown of McKenzie, TN, Terri Lynn (Randy) Delaney of McKenzie, TN, and Sherry Jean (David) Doster of McKenzie, TN; two sisters, Jo Etta Nance of Paris, TN, and Janice (Sammy) Baker of Henry, TN; 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and 7 great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Randy Crews; one sister, Regina Pierce; and one brother, Harold Dan “Shorty” Ross.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. Visitation will be Thursday, December 16, 2021, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Friday, December 17, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. The funeral service will be Friday, December 17, 2021, at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Kevin Gallimore, Josh Brown, and Jason Crews officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Hart, Shaun Cairns, Michael Crews, Josh Brown, Caden Webb, and Jason Crews. Named as honorary pallbearers are Mike Hudgins, Randy Hart, Johnny Brown, Randy Delaney, and David Doster.
Burial will be in Bevil Cemetery in Paris, TN.
