John Anderson

John Harold Anderson, age 61 of Cottage Grove, TN, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.

He retired after many years as a material handler for Tecumseh in Paris, TN.  John was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran and a member of the American Legion in Paris.  He enjoyed being outside working in the yard and fishing.  He was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church in Buchanan.

John was born June 7, 1957, in Chicago, IL, to the late Henry Robert Anderson and the late Eileen Bridgette Gillen Anderson.

He was married November 22, 2000, to Karen Renae Allen Anderson, who survives, of Cottage Grove, TN.

Along with his wife, he is also survived by two brothers, Hank (Joanne) Anderson of North Carolina, and Joseph Anderson of North Carolina; and three brothers-in-law, Harry (Helen) Allen of St. Louis, MO; Kevin Allen of Trenton, TN, and Brian Allen of Springville, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  The body is to be cremated with no services planned.
