Judy K. Collins, age 75 of Paris, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at Grace Healthcare of Franklin, in Franklin, TN.
She served as an office manager for various businesses throughout her working career. Judy was a fun and lighthearted woman, who was loved dearly by her family and friends. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies, playing cards with friends, and spending time with her granddaughters. Although Judy will be missed, we can rest easy knowing she has found peace.
Born October 18, 1944 in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Earl Prezell Shankle and the late Mary Jane Bevill Shankle.
She was married March 19, 2003, to Robert “Shag” Collins, who preceded her in death on May 27, 2013.
Judy is survived by one daughter, Marie Hardin (Ted) Lee of Brentwood; one son, Wes Hardin of Olive Branch, MS; one sister, Jena Barnes of Paris; two brothers, Billy Johnson and Alvin (Margie) Shankle both of Paris; three grandchildren, Ashton Lee (Chase) Pearson, Peyton Lee, and Jordan Hardin; four nieces and nephews, Amanda Hendrix, Thomas Earl Johnson, Heather Presson, and Heather Ray.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, P.O. Box 788, Paris, TN 38242. The body is to be cremated with a private graveside memorial service to be held at a later date. Burial of the cremated remains will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Paris.
