Judy Purdon

Judy Carol Purdon, age 71 of Springville, TN, died Wednesday, February 24, 2021, at her residence.

She retired after many years as an LPN, formerly working for Regional Hospital in Jackson, TN.  Judy loved watching criminal law shows on TV, especially CSI and Law & Order.  She enjoyed gardening and was Baptist by belief.

Judy was born April 20, 1949, in Memphis, TN, to the late Earl DeWayne Buck and the late Betty Lou Mangram Buck.

She was married July 20, 1979, to Raymond E. Purdon, who survives, of Springville, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by her three daughters, Tiffany (Brandi) Purdon of Springville, TN, Patricia Purdon of Savannah, GA, and Tammy (Mark) Welch of Jackson, TN; eleven grandchildren, Joey Ayers, Trena Beecham, Danielle Beecham, Donovan Beecham, Walker Purdon, Tyler Brant, Nick Bray, Cobain Farris, Nichole Brannen, Morgan Welch, and Riley Welch; and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one daughter, Tina Beecham; one sister, Marilyn Dotson; and one brother, Larry Buck.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
