Linda Wanamaker

Linda June Wanamaker, age 70 of Henry, TN, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

She retired from Tecumseh Products after 38 years of employment.  Linda was a 1967 graduate of Henry High School in Henry, TN.  She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and an avid Carolina Panthers fan.  She attended Long Heights Baptist Church in McKenzie, TN.

Linda was born February 5, 1949, in Halls, TN, to the late Finis Ray Murray and the late Frances Chipman Murray.

She was married November 14, 1990, to Kevin Wanamaker, who survives, of Henry, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by her mother-in-law, Mable Hardin of Camden, TN; two sons, Troy (Cheri) Hodge of Paris, TN, and Brian (Bridgette) Hodge of Medina, TN; four sisters, Jenie (Brad) Melton of Henry, TN, Kathy (Earl) Grissom of Henry, TN, Cherry (Steve) Russell of McKenzie, TN, and Kim (Mike) Butler of Henry, TN; one brother, Tim (Donna) Murray of Paris, TN; six grandchildren, Kayla (Dakota) Arnold, Pamela Hodge (Brittany Hargrove), Tristin (Hanna) McGee, Jazmine (Collins) Wiles, Brandon Miles, and Brendon McGee (Haley Rainey); and six great grandchildren, Lincoln Wiles, Harrison Wiles, Madisyn Miles, Tucker Arnold, Galen Thompson, Karsen Arnold.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Adam Hodge and Paul Hodge; and one grandchild, Cory Hodge.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 14, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, and continue Friday, November 15, 2019, from 9:00 am – 11:00 am.  The funeral service will be Friday, November 15, 2019, at 11:00 am, at LeDon Chapel of Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Kenny Carr officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be Corbin Butler, Griffin Butler, Lee Russell, Travis Russell, Josh Murray, and Kyle Grissom.

Burial will be in Brogdon Cemetery in Henry, TN.
