Linda Ann Penniston

Linda Ann Penniston, age 75 of Springville, TN, died Thursday, September 21, 2020, at her residence.

She retired after man years as a bus driver for the Desoto County, School System in Horn Lake, MS.  She was a Christian by faith and loved the Lord.  Linda enjoyed water aerobics at the Paris Civic Center, cooking, and gardening.  She loved all people, especially her grandchildren.

Linda was born February 10, 1945, in Memphis, TN, to the late Roy Trim and the late Ida Walker Trim.

She was married May 18, 1962, to Ralph Frederick “Fred” Penniston, who survives, of Springville, TN.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by three sons, Mike Vander of Salem, OR, John (Arian) Penniston of Portland, OR, and Timothy (James) Penniston of Rio Rico, AZ; eight grandchildren, Patrick Penniston, Summer Penniston, Kelly Penniston, Andrew Penniston, Jo Penniston, Sawyer Vander, and two step granddaughters; and one great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters; and nine brothers.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with no services scheduled at this time.
