Luella Dulceak

August 24, 1929 — January 7, 2020

Luella Mae Dulceak, age 90 of Paris, TN, died Tuesday, January 7, 2020, at Hill View Community Living Center in Dresden, TN.

She was the former vice president of Victor Dulceak & Sons Construction Company in Illinois, where she worked alongside her husband.  She was also the former owner & operator of Honey’s Beauty Salon in Glendale Heights, IL.  Luella enjoyed being a homemaker raising her six children.  She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Wheaton, IL, and was very active in St. John’s Lutheran School where her children attended.  She served as the president of the Glen Ellyn, IL American Legion Auxillary and was an auxillary member of the VFW in Wheaton.  Luella loved her family very much, especially her grandchildren.

Luella was born August 24, 1929, in Stillwater, MN, to the late Paul G. Roettger and the late Dorothy M. “Hazel” Burkhart Sidback.

See was married December 22, 1949, to Victor George “Vic” Dulceak, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 14, 2019.

She is survived by four daughters, Carolyn Dulceak Gatewood of Lake Zurich, IL, Sandra K. Dulceak (Mark) Taylor of Carol Stream, IL, Pamela C. Dulceak (Richard) Lillie of Paris, TN, and DeeAnn M. Dulceak of DeKalb, IL; two sons, Victor G. Dulceak, Jr., of West Chicago, IL, and Ronald G. (Corlene) Dulceak of New Port Richie, FL; one brother, David (Linda) Sidback of Davenport, IA; 27 grandchildren; 60 great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sisters, Cora Doyle and Amella Lugiai; and three brothers, Allen Roettger, Paul Roettger, and Wallace Sidback.

Local arrangements will be handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St., Paris, TN, 38242.  The body is to be donated to science.
