Ricky Wayne Allen

Ricky Wayne Allen, age 66 of Henry, TN, died Saturday, August 28, 2021, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris.

He last worked for Allen’s Carpet Cleaning in Paris.  He formerly worked for State Termite before becoming the owner & operator of Allen’s Pest Control where his customer called him “Bugman.”  In his younger years, Ricky enjoyed hunting, fishing, and loved animals, especially his dogs.  He enjoyed his garden and loved music, especially southern rock n roll.  He was a former member of the Paris Moose Lodge for several years.  Ricky was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.  He loved his family very much.

Ricky was born January 15, 1955, in Paris, TN to the late Joe Rogers Allen and Margaret Carter Allen, who survives, of Paris, TN.

He was married in November 2011 to Rebecca Dell French, who survives, of Paris.

Along with his mother and wife, he is also survived by his daughter, Rikkian Allen of Paris; his sister Vicky (David) Paschall of Puryear, TN; six grandchildren, Kylie Allen, Koby Jones, Destany Allen, Shawn Allen Bicker, Savanna Allen, and Cashton Halstead; four great grandchildren, Kane Allen, Koda Ingram, Waylon Ingram, and Righteous Allen; one niece, Angela Mosley (Terry) Alton; several stepchildren and step grandchildren; and several cousins.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by one son, Chris Allen.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN, 38242.  Visitation will be Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Mike Wimberley, Emily Walker, and Wilbur Farmer officiating.

Serving as pallbearers will be David Paschall, Terry Alton, James “Bimbo” Henderson, Jeremy Freeland, Kevin Hilt, Anthony Grande, and Jerry Paul Melton.

Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove, TN.
