Robert Earl "Squirrel" Watts

Robert Earl “Squirrel” Watts, age 63 of Springville, TN, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at his residence.

He worked for several years at Hollingsworth Sawmill.  Squirrel served in the Tennessee National Guard for eight years and enjoyed motorcycle riding.

Squirrel was born September 16, 1957, in Paris, TN, to the late Bobby Lewis Watts and Mattie Christine Patterson Turner, who survives, of Springville, TN.

He is survived by his three children, Jessi Watts of Ohio, James Watts of Paris, and Johnny Watts of Paris; two brothers, Dennis (Nancy) Watts of Paris, and Kendall (Paula) Watts of Mansfield, TN; and one granddaughter, Mia Jayde Briggs.

In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Gary Breaux.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 29, 2021, at 11:00 am at Community Cemetery in Springville, TN, with Dennis Watts officiating.

Friends will serve as pallbearers.

Burial will follow the graveside service in Community Cemetery.
