Sarah Ruth Phillips

Sarah Ruth Phillips, age 58 of Paris, TN, died Sunday, November 28, 2021, at her residence.

She worked as an account manager for BCD Travel, an international travel agency.  Sarah enjoyed cooking, camping by the lake, and was a cat lover.  She also loved visiting the desert area out West.  She was Methodist by belief.

Sarah was born February 23, 1963, in El Paso, TX, to the late Charles Race and the late Jane Adele Strickland Race

She was married July 14, 2005, to Rip Gregory Phillips, who survives, of Paris.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by two daughters, Jessica Sisk of Dallas, TX, and Hannah Phillips of Jacksonville Beach, FL; one sister, Mary Race of Las Cruces, NM; two brothers, Kevin Race of Ashville, NC, and Dr. Mark Race of LaLuz, NM; two grandchildren; father-in-law & mother-in-law, Bob and Wanda Phillips of Paris; sister-in-law, Amy Wilson of Paris; and brother-in-law, Bob Phillips of Brighton, TN.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Jenny Race.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, TN 38242.  The body is to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
