May 15, 1948 — August 7, 2019

Steven Erik Anderson, age 71 of Paris, TN, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019, at AHC Paris after a long battle with cancer due to exposure to Agent Orange while proudly serving in Vietnam.

Steve joined the Navy after graduating from high school.  He volunteered to go to Vietnam as a Seabee whose motto is "We build, we fight."

He enjoyed fishing, reading, and British mysteries. Steve loved the Lord and he was a dedicated Christian. He frequently took his wife's hand and asked, "Do you want to pray with me?"  He was a generous, kind man who loved helping others. Steve was a very upbeat and courageous man.  He was quiet and very reserved except when he was home with his family. He had a great sense of humor. He was loyal and honest. Steve was a true conservative, politically active, well-informed, and he loved his country.

Steve was born May 15,1948, in Calistoga, CA, to the late Otto Michael Anderson and the late Juanita "Sam" McClanahan Anderson.

Steve married the love of his life and best friend Karen Low Anderson on March 23, 1989, who survives of Paris, TN.  He was the love of Karen's life and their years together were very happy.
