Thomas Roy Spry

Thomas Roy “Tom” Spry, age 56 of Buchanan, TN, died Thursday, December 26, 2019, at Henry County Medical Center in Paris, TN.

He retired as a self-employed construction and drywall contractor.  He owned and operated Snowballs & Snacks in Paris.  Tom loved his family and was an extremely giving person.  He was a big jokester, enjoyed working on cars and was an avid New Orleans Saints fan.

Tom was born March 18, 1963, in Savannah, TN, to Joe Fay Spry, who survives, of Opelousas, LA, and Linda Ellis Spry Groś, who survives, of Buchanan, TN.

Along with his parents, he is also survived by five children, Danyell Spry of Knoxville, TN, Tara (Dannie) Brown of Laurel Hill, FL, Magon Zeledon of Terrytown, LA, Morgan (Terry) Hollingsworth of Camden, TN, and Chelsey Caudill of Huntingdon, TN; fiancée, Chesney Hamilton of Buchanan, TN; stepmother, Holly Spry of Opelousas, LA; three brothers, Michael Fay (Paddy) Spry of Westwego, LA, Steven (Francine) Spry of Ontario, Canada, and Cameron Spry of Opelousas, LA; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; one niece; three nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap St, Paris, TN.  Visitation will be Monday, December 30, 2019, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with cremation to follow the visitation.
